Shiwang’andu Town Council is participating in a five-day Website Content Management and Security Training currently underway at Kitwe City Council in Kitwe.
Representing the council are the System Analyst, Programmer and Public Relations Officer.
The training has brought together Public Relations Officers and IT specialists from Central, Muchinga and Luapula Provinces under the third phase of a national capacity building programme.
The programme aims to enhance skills in website management and cybersecurity, thereby strengthening digital service delivery across Local Authorities. This initiative forms part of the Government’s efforts to promote safe and efficient e-governance under the Zambia Devolution Support Programme (ZDSP), supported by Smart Zambia, the World Bank, and the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
