Joy filled the heart of Shiwangandu District Commissioner Ms. Maureen Bwembya for an oil marketing and trading company to open a filling station in the District.
The District Commissioner urged management to be partners with government by doing what is right and avoiding shortages of fuel, she emphasized that since this filling station is on the great north road, it must put us on the map by providing a good service to its customers. She thanked management for trusting Shiwangandu district and pledged to offer government support when need arises.
The event was witnessed by Shiwang’andu Town Council acting Council Secretary Mr. Kelvin Mufungwe, Counsel Advocate for Shiwangandu Town Council Mrs Bertha Mwenya Nyondo and Shiwangandu Town Council Divisional Fire Officer Mr. Oscar Nyirenda.
